Carrying / collector case poll
over 3 years ago – Mon, Oct 12, 2020 at 07:08:58 AM

Checking in!

Hi folks! Considering the multitude of requests we've had for a carrying/collector case over the past 24 hours, we created a quick poll to better understand exactly what folks are after. We'd love to get your feedback on BoardGameGeek here: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2517162/article/35983900#35983900

In the meantime, we will be updating the campaign page with new Stretch Goals shortly, and we'll also get going with some fun community engagement events - stay tuned!

Cheers!

Our first award, sketches, and community design
over 3 years ago – Mon, Oct 12, 2020 at 07:08:35 AM

Good morning!

Welcome to the start of day 3! Things are moving along great, so let's tell you about everything going on...

Dropped Too Deep earns its first award

Michael Wright from Unfiltered Gamer drips about the expansion in his latest review, and then did not hesitate to award it the official Seal of Approval! Here's the full review if you would like to check it out:

New art sketches inbound

With the speed at which we blew threw almost 30 stretch goals, we're now catching up! We've just received these new Tavern Tales sketches for the Infernal, Darkmander, and Lavaling! Remember these are just the sketches - full coloring and shading will come next, and we'll be sure to share those with you as well.

Time to start our first community design

Image linked to the idea submission area on BoardGameGeek

It's time to start doing something we love most about these Kickstarters - engaging and working with you to come up with new amazing ideas! Last year, the community submitted and voted on cute fun monster names, a new class, a new race, and SIX unique ideas for how the Mysterious Shiny Purple Cubes should work. We look forward to repeating those engagements!

We begin this series with a community designed Class for Dungeon Drop. This is how it works:

  •  Phase 1: Submission of ideas: Ideas are submitted via a forum post on BoardGameGeek. For this one, click the green image above to access it, or use this link: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2517566/article/35988886#35988886. These ideas do NOT need to be fully fleshed out or mechanically sound! We can work on that over time... for now just get your creative juices flowing and post away!
  •  Phase 2: We select top 5 to 10 ideas: Scott, Greg, Darrin, and I will select the top 5 to 10 ideas, based on what we feel will work best from a thematic and rough mechanics perspective.
  •  Phase 3: Community poll: We will post the best ideas and put it to a vote (again on BoardGameGeek)!

All in all, we generally plan to complete all three phases inside 1 week, so we move fairly fast We'll give you a couple days to submit ideas, then we'll meet as a team a day or two later to select the best ideas, and then we'll provide a couple days for the final poll.

We can't wait to see what you come up with!!

 Much more to come

In the meantime, we're already well on our way to unlocking this amazing upgrade for the new Limited Promo Pack! Let's crush this, and then we can show you even more of what's planned!

Cheers!

Launch day - immense success!!
over 3 years ago – Sun, Oct 11, 2020 at 08:38:26 AM

Welcome everyone!

I'd say it goes without saying that WE FUNDED, and not by a small amount!! We are beyond blown away by the reception and excitement here, and we can't thank you enough for your support!

In the first 3 hours we not only funded, making both Dungeon Drop: Dropped Too Deep and Tavern Tales possible, but we have also crushed through 16 Stretch Goals! Images for most of them are below for your reference.

We also just received a new review video from Tantrum House you can check out:

Kickstarter bugs

IMPORTANT: We heard that many people who use the Kickstarter app are seeing very strange shipping costs (like a $3 add-on that adds $8 shipping, when it should be $0 shipping). Please use the Kickstarter website for now, as there are known issues with their app that we hope they will fix soon.

Moving on at lightspeed!

We have so much planned for the next 25 days, so get ready for even more hotness!

Cheers!
